TRAIL CLOSURE UPDATES

Some trails are open, but please be extra cautious and respect machines and fuel treatment projects.

KOKANEE:

Logging trucks will start hauling on the Kokanee road on November 1 and will continue thru the winter. Logging will not affect the trails, but take extra care and watch for trucks.

THE VEIN:

fuel treatments are still underway. The trails were not supposed to be affected, but there was a report of a slash pile in the middle of the trail, so watch for signs at the bottom of the road indicating closures ahead.

MOUNTAIN STATION:

trails are open to the top of Eli Sim. Machines are working above there and trails are not rideable.

49 CREEK BLEWETT TRAILS:

Logging is still underway on moosehead, jackleg, hotwheels.

Regular 49er, blindside, and choker should be good to go.

SMALLWOOD:

fuel treatments are still underway, but trails are open.
