Toonie Rides
A future mountain biker hands over the 'cup 'o Toonies' to our winner Josh Hall at last week's Toonie Ride. Josh was the youngest rider by at least 15 years, and came flying in first! Everyone one had a blast on the Silverking, Stanley/Powerline trails and finished up with a BBQ at Cottonwood Lake. We had about a dozen riders of all levels.

Thank you to Spearhead Timberworks for sponsoring this Toonie Ride.

*Only one more Toonie Ride this year...watch for it. It will be at the end of August.

Reminder that the Mountain Station trails are closed
A reminder that the Mountain Station trails, which are located on private land, are temporarily closed.

Please respect the landowners requests and stay out.

The trails are expected to reopen in early September.

Road Closures - West Kokanee FSR
Heads up that there are some road closures scheduled for West Kokanee FSR
(the road to Hitman). Closures are for replacement of a couple bridges and
the MoF says "Access is closed to all vehicles, bicycles and pedestrian
traffic."

West Kokanee FSR -approx. 10.5 km
July 28 to August 1

West Kokanee FSR - approx. 7.4 km
August 4 to August 12
